On the 1st July 2016, .The local court found all the 10 accused guilty for „illegal border crossing during participation in mass riot”. Their case is treated separatly from Ahmed H., who is accused for „the crime of terrorism and other crimes”... The first 6 accused got 1 year and 2 months prison sentence and 4 years expulsion from hungary. The 7th accused, who was talking into a megaphone got 3 years prison sentence and 10 years expulsion. The 8th, 9th and 10th accused, the older lady, the man in wheelchair and the other older man got suspended prison sentence. The older lady can stay in Hungary because she already has international protection, Faisal and the other man who has health problems got expulsion for 2 and 4 years. The verdict is not final, the prosecutor made an appeal against the decision and asked for more severe sentence for all of the accused and he demanded prison sentence even for the three vulnerable cases. The judge ordered the defendants to pay half of the costs incurred for their translations, meaning several of them received bills for over €1,000. The decision did not prolong the emergency measures of the pre-trial detention during the waiting period until the next trials, which means that most of the people were sent to open camps and they could leave the country. Three of the ten people are still in Hungary, Yamen A. is in the prison of Szeged, Faruk A. and Kamel J. are in detention centers in Kiskunhalas and Békéscsaba.
